I recovered this bell from an old, somewhat delicate King by HN White. I could not find any information on its original construction date, and am guessing it is around 40s or 50s vintage. It is quite lightweight and sports a few more scars than some of the other vintage bells.
It has been delacquered, cleaned, fitted with an Alexander ring, and 8 Christmas tree silhouettes with an accompanying Christmas star have been soldered onto the outer bell surface--evenly spaced around the bell rim. All the applied items are nickel silver (0.016" thick).
The bell with Alexander ring weighed 371g before the brass applique. It weighs 384g after the applique was applied. It is very responsive and produces a nice sound.
