This bell flare was made out of a vintage C.G. Conn 14D bell. The serial number was N89207, which places the year of manufacture as 1970. The bell has been delacquered, cleaned and brought to a light brushed finish (it is not polished), fitted with an Alexander Bell ring, and then customized with a complex raindrop cut-out pattern.
Original mass with bell ring = 402g; current mass after customization = 374g.
