Bespoke Design on a New or Vintage Bell

I am happy to create a new bespoke design for you that can be applied onto a new or vintage horn bell flare.  The bottom line for a new bespoke design is that I will provide you a firm price estimate for a complete bell once we agree upon the design and before I begin making your bell.

Indicative pricing (does not include shipping costs):

1. Create new bell design (paint, applique, engravings, or cut-outs):  POR, but probably around $300 for all the graphic design time, testing, calibrating, etc involved to meet your approval. 
2. Your bespoke design would then be applied to your choice of new or vintage bell.  I will provide a cost estimate for making the bell for you using the design from bullet #1 above. 
   1. The cost of creating a complete bespoke vintage horn bell with single technique customizations, such as only paint or only cut-outs, will be in the $500 to $600 range.  A complete bespoke vintage bell with applique designs will range from $500 to $800 depending on the complexity of the applique artwork.
   2. The cost of creating a complete bespoke new horn bell with single technique customizations, such as only paint or only cut-outs, will be in the $700 to $900 range for new bells.  A complete bespoke new bell with applique designs will range from $700 to $1000 depending on the complexity of the applique artwork.
   3. Mixed customization, such as engravings and painting, or painting and cut-outs will be somewhat more expensive--I will give you a pretty accurate estimate once we have settled on the design.  

The fine print:  I have become very experienced working with different bells and different bell customization techniques--I believe you will be happy with the result.  You and I will be sharing the risk of a custom designed bell in the following way: 

1. You have bought the bell and there is no refund if I apply your design as agreed upon and the techniques were performed properly, but you decide that you don't like the design after the fact.  The exception is if I have agreed in writing to you that I will accept a return of your bespoke custom horn bell for refund.
2. The cost of making the bell is entirely on me if I fail to make the design we agreed upon for you, or, the customization technique failed and has significant defects.  The failed bell will become scrap at my expense, and I will try again.
